Loved the DVD. Thought the book would go into a lot more detail, but it didn't really, so was a little disappointed. However would love to do exactly the same thing as them- and can't wait for Long way down.

Oh and Charley's Dakar was good too, shame about the broken arm, would have liked to have seen him go further.

Saw it just before christmas, great trip, fantastic scenery and McGregor was alot funnier and more low keep than I'd thought.

Well worth a watch.

I'm reading Jupiters travels now and I have Mondo Enduro to read! Read LWR book and watched the extended DVD. Both good. Book was very easy reading as opposed to Jupiters Travels. One thing that annoyed me about the DVD was the bloody titles before every episode! Do they really need to do that?

I was inspired enough to buy me a £400 Transalp with the journey to Lincolnshire and back my mission! (Or hopefully France or Spain next year)
