cos they may end up with a large amount of brown in their trousers?! maybe. would take me a while to get the confidence to do that!!

because some kind of bike faliure would mean at that speed would leave you in a worse state than richard hammond.;)

I agree.

And to kwak, if I have the opportunity to do that sort of speed, with a gurantee that it's only me that COULD get hurt, then fine, fair game.

Depends on the bike and the road... The SV starts to feel a little lairy above 120mph, I've found (none of your indicated nonsense here :smt033 ) and my Virago felt like I was one second from death at 70mph, the one time it ever got that high. But on a litre bike or hupersports, with the right screen, I'd be finding out how fast too fast is every time I saw a motorway I reckon.

dont know how fast some of you guy/gals have been but i did a silly 3 figure speed on the M54 a few years ago and yea it was good while it lasted but when i arrived at my stop i couldnt stop thinking about the dangers? on the same motorway i hit a pheasant with my head at 80mph! this nearly removed me from the bike, broke my visor and put some nasty looking cracks in a £200 lid, what would it have done at 150?

Well I would vote 200mph but then I've never been at that speed so I don't know if I would be happy riding at it.

As fast as the machine will go is my experience so far. But I suppose I havent had a really fast bike yet so I may change that.

Your just as dead at 130Mph - 150Mph (which has highest votes next to 70-100) as you are at 200+ if it all goes horribly wrong ;)
