Gazza The problem with this is that it's all relative. Try and get a quote on a 1000cc IL4 and see how much it shoots up or if you wanna get real silly have a look at what it goes up to for either a ZZR 1200 or CBR1100 Blackbird it will make you :pukel:

I realise it's all relative. Problem is the size of my wallet is static! Out of interest though, what are servicing costs & other running costs like?

Mine might be if we keep on. I see what you mean actually about the insurance - I assumed it would be similar to any other 1000cc bike. In actual fact, it's only about £30 more than for a K6 Gixxer600. Mmmmmm.

a blackbird is a lower insurance group than a gsxr1000 i think, although i don't know how relevant that is

For me to insure any of the 1000cc IL4's is was about £800.00 to insure either the Blackbird or the ZZR was £1100.00 :scratch:

i've a 2000 (W) plate SVS....my book price £4,000...got a few mods, so i'll take £4,500.

how do you want the £500, cash or cheque...?

GSXR600 just shy of £800.
GSXR750 about £1500.:o
