I think it was Dillon - though I'm re-reading Watchmen at the moment so have kind of got Dave Gibbons on the brain, and because he also did RT I now can't think of any other artists! :roll:

Watchmen is brilliant. Keeop on having to buy copies of it because people keep loaning it & not returning it to me when I want to read it (always).

Since I was 16 I've wanted a tattoo of the smiley face on my arm. But I keep botlnig it. Even went into a tattooist the other day but bottled it when I saw the needle machine.



Now all this talk of going as a superhero to a party. Superheroes need a day off occasionally. Go as a Database Administrator. I'll send photos of my "costume" ;o)

As someone who used to work as a Librarian, I very rarely lend out any of my books - and even then only to the very select few who are well trained in the art of fearing my wrath should anything not be returned in perfect condition and on time.:rolleyes:

That said, my copy of The Watchmen never gets lent and is likely to be buried with me - it's a leatherbound & slipcased limited edition that's existence is rarely even found on rare book searches; it was never intended for release, only for internal publisher distribution.
Even Dave Gibbons doesn't have one - much to his dismay when I produced mine for signing. :twisted:

The greater god that is Alan Moore (who lives just the other side of town from me) has one though - we played snap when I got him to sign it.:cool:

If anyone asks how I got it I just reply "It fell off the back of a planet.";)
