Re: Pirate/Ninja/Policeman/Other
I think it was Dillon - though I'm re-reading Watchmen at the moment so have kind of got Dave Gibbons on the brain, and because he also did RT I now can't think of any other artists!
Damn you - I'll have to send a minion up into the loft to find out now. |

Since I was 16 I've wanted a tattoo of the smiley face on my arm. But I keep botlnig it. Even went into a tattooist the other day but bottled it when I saw the needle machine. Now all this talk of going as a superhero to a party. Superheroes need a day off occasionally. Go as a Database Administrator. I'll send photos of my "costume" ;o) |

Go in the buff (I'm sure it'd be a laugh if nothing else...)

That said, my copy of The Watchmen never gets lent and is likely to be buried with me - it's a leatherbound & slipcased limited edition that's existence is rarely even found on rare book searches; it was never intended for release, only for internal publisher distribution. Even Dave Gibbons doesn't have one - much to his dismay when I produced mine for signing. The greater god that is Alan Moore (who lives just the other side of town from me) has one though - we played snap when I got him to sign it. If anyone asks how I got it I just reply "It fell off the back of a planet.";) |
