Both rubbish, but we've got woodpigeons in the hedge and they're good neighbours... Seagulls, on the other hand, are chav birds.

at primrose valley or reighton sands throw scraps of bread on caravan roofs (not your own though) an in the wee hours of the mornins the seagulls would be all over the roofs:smt040 |

I think 'pidgeon' is used in the word 'pidgeon-toed', but the bird itself is a 'pigeon'...
