In the words of Forrest Gump, Chav is what Chav does.

Rim tape, coloured chains/screens and seats, fake carbon, gold wheels, multicoloured cans........ Is doing anything to your bike to 'enhance' its look bordering on chavdom? Let them with no chavness (past or present) cast the first stone (of should that be gold sovereign). I have to admit to a carbon hugger myself (but its not chav, I think!) :p ;)

Presumably real carbon fibre is ok? Does anyone know if the OEM GSX-R hugger is real or fake CF? :lol: (I haven't got it yet, btw...but it looks nice!)

Yep pretty much every OEM rim tape job looks good. It's just the poor colour choice and the wonky applications that look BAAAAAD!

I have this! It is paint though rather than tape and is fairly discreet :wink:

Riding it, in trainers and tracky bottoms (tucked into white socks) is the most Chavvy thing you can do to a bike.

Mods-wise, pink/purple anodised bolts are a contender.

My chain is "gold" in colour, but at least it is offset by my unchavy topbox

Therfore, by bike is normal :)

I dont mind rim tape if its used properly; where it matches the bike colours.

go through the latest m & p catalogue, and they ahve the worst chav tastic items in there. stick on led lights for under fairings, stick on fake carbon everywhere YUK!!!!
