Re: Easy way to move bikes?
Thanks for the post Jim, only issue is I have to place the bike horizontal across the end of my garage.
The gadgets which members have provided links to look easy to use but, as with most things now adays, the prices are hiked. |
Re: Easy way to move bikes?
practice this a bit and i bet you come up with a way to position it easily(tail in first and then push the bike backwards while the stand is still down ??)honestly my m8 puts the bikes all over the place and theres not a lot of space between the bikes in the showroom ,,dont buy anything ,just practice this and youl b spinning all over the place

Cheers Jim :)
Much obliged. |
Re: Easy way to move bikes?
Two metal pub bar trays with some grease between. Or does that only work with centrestands?

Re: Easy way to move bikes?
Got this sussed now - Back the bike into the top corner of the garage and undertake a forward and backwards procedure approx 10 times.
No lifting involved and I get the bike exactly where I want it. |
Re: Easy way to move bikes?
I'm glad it's not just me that has problems manouvering their bike...might have to try the spinning it on the sidestand trick as there is no chance of me lifting it by the grab rail...I'm only ickle (5'2" and about 71/2 - 8 stone).
Manouvering it in a busy car park and looking a prat is my worst nightmare, I'm more worried about that than I am dropping it lol |
