You will need to address that ;) but to be honest the SV pegs are a bit on the low side ... so it is still worth investing in some plates or some cheap rearsets
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Suzuki-SV650-S...QQcmdZViewItem

Having the pegs a bit rearward and upward gives you a better 'stance' too .. where you end up lying on the tank a bit more, it puts more weight over the front end, which is good.

As for 'how are they on the road'? Does it matter?? its only a few bolts to swap back and forth for trackdays ;)

The great thing about doing it on road tyres/bike is that you can now look cool down the pub for the rest of the tyres life!! ;) :D

That is as cheap as they come ... I doubt you would get even a 2nd hand set of 'nice' rearsets for a ton ;)

And yes, the plates are a good solution ... but if you have rearsets, then you can take the stock rests along as spares ... pegs/rearsets are one of the first things to snap in even a minor off ... and can spoil your day if you don't have a spare (like a front brake leaver).

no no i kinda like it haha! one of the few times i'm not sarcastic

it's only a coupple of quid, and if it looks alright, not such a bad investment

so are those tyres alright to ride on then? the treads fine but wouldnt you die cornering?
