Re: Flooded house
Hey - in a couple of months time will be suffering from a week long heatwave and having hosepipe bans because it was the wrong type of rain or something. ;)
Hope things get sorted as soon as possible though. |

Makes me wish I lived on top of the hill. Daryl. I hope all goes ok with the assessors/insurance, being flooded is horrid as the house will take forever to dry out, there can be a lingering stink. you wonder about damage/rot to flooring and joists etc. I sympathise big style as I had a family friend who suffered it 3 times. 2 weeks after he sold his house it happened again. |
Re: Flooded house
Unlucky Darylb! I am close to being flooded, I really hope it doesn't happen. Best of luck for you to get a good insurance payout so you can get a nice newly redecorated house.

Re: Flooded house
Sorry to hear you were affected, good job you have insurance. Keep us up to date with how you get along and if you are stuck temporarily for furniture I am sure things can be found for you as a temporary measure from folks of the forum within your area.
I will certainly help if I can, you are not a million miles away from me. Chin up dude x Shell |
