Re: The Chinese
The Chinese as human beings are no different than anyone else. However as a westerner dealing with them on a business footing is a nightmare as they seem to operate by using some antiquated set of rules.
Human rights issues in China and pollution issues are nothing less than a complete disgrace. Their food? Not bad occasionally. They will rule the world no later than 2 generations from now.....mark my words.......... |

Just a sprinkle of an ancient mix in among the prawn crackers and Dim Sum one weekend night and they could instantly take over 90% of the western world. Be afraid my friends, be very afraid!:(

Well on paper its great. Only problem with a "everyone is equal" situation is that human beings have a desire to be "more equal" than the others - its out nature to set up hierarchies which then breaks the fairness of communism. |

Re: The Chinese
The Chinese have more cash than anybody else right now. They also hold so many US treasury bonds that if they cashed them in at the same time the US economy would tank within 24 hours.
Of course they won't, the US is their best customer for plastic pumpkins and other essentials of life. China consumes more raw materials than any other nation on the planet. By 2008 they will consume more oil than the United States. China has the most English speakers of any country, they probably write better than me too. |
