Foregin licence transfer, if it was changed for a provisonal licence the probationary period would stand, as when you pass it would be your first full uk licence......

If was exchanged for a full UK licence, then no I would have thought. If i'm wrong, then feel free to correct.

If you are in the UK and don't hold a UK licence and been here more than year, you need a UK or EU one! Intertnational drving licences don't count for anything! There are just bits of scrap paper.....

The second one i blame the girl who was in the car with me, ridiculously short skirt and hi boots....couldn't concentrate :rolleyes:

Thanks all for the supportive answers, i was a tad worried that my riding days were over before they had started, just look forward to higher premiums and i suppose it's a lesson learnt, must keep my eyes peeled.
