True. But for people who don't have a ******s tan; it'll take longer than that, and even 5 hours is a long time to play!

Fair enough, just thinking of pounds per gameplay hour is all.

Having played CoD4 for most of the evening I've done about a dozen or so stages of the single palyer campaign, and played team and single deathmatch online.

Very fast gameplay, but good fun. Not the be all and end all of all games, but a worthy addition to the collection and probably better than buying DVD's in terms of hours of entertainment per pound.

Looking forward to GT5, and GTA 4, oh and MGS

Think I'll be getting a PS3 in the Jan sales :)

Has it lost the charm the WWII ones had by going modern?

That may be why blue ray is unpopular then, with HD DVD already at £150 and falling towards that magic sub £100 price point

5 hours singleplayer is very very poor. I haven't bought it on that basis. I like singleplayer, not everyone likes fighting 12 year old kids in America at death matches. I do have Crysis Pre-ordered though, now THAT is going to rock!

Have to agree with an earlier comment re CoD3 - big disappointment so I didn't rush out and buy this one. Still playing Halo 3 even though the single player mode is short the online game is amazing.

Re: PS3 Vs 360, I know a few PS3 owners, none are what you'd call gamers more the type that thought they wanted a blue ray player and PS2 was best so PS3 should be. The PS3 has some cracking titles due out and GT is going to be great I bet, but over the last year the 360 has had awesome support and the PS3 little for the sort of games I like. If you like watchig movies and waiting for previews, go for the PS3. If you actually want a games console you can play great games on today then go for the 360. When the PS3 get better titles (I love resistance FOM but that's about it) I'll probably get one. Already have Wii, DS and PSP so may as well make it a full set! (I have a 10 year old daughter so that's my excuse ;-) )
