i brought a spanking new black one last fri, it arrived at stealers in the crate on tues!

i actually payed deposit on the orange 'R' model, but like you i was put off by the paint! (even triumph say it dont last)
the only diff between the 'R' and stock striple is the daytona sussies, two-tone seat and matt paint...the engine power is exactly the same;)

Also, i got the arrow slip-ons.....regret it now coz they the only parts thas holding me bike up! (til next week):smt076

as for blue flame cans, they do a fair few for the striple....check em out;

Still, a good bike to go to by all accounts. You'll just have to get used to losing your bike at bike meets now, cos it'll never stand out like your your Sheene did.

If you do get them , then get them in Black mate , I saw one of these in Woods not so long ago and it had the Aluminium Ixil underseat cans on and they looked OLD already , I passed a comment along the lines of "Jeeeese how old are those cans" and I was told they were a matter of weeks old rather than months .

Sweet looking bike mate , absolutely stonking engine too , you are gonna have so much fun :)

P.S. Have you set up a tyre fund yet ?

Pickling Gel will clean those up nicely , Arrow cans are very nicely made , just the welds to tidy up and it would look tip-top

Well, just got back from a 40mile bimble. I actually woo hoo'd whilst riding it, it is so much fun!

Think its going to be the Leo Vince as a local independant bike shop is a dealer in them and usually sorts me out a good price.

Gutted the SV has gone because of its looks and sound but thats where it ends.

I take it you don't take many pillins though Girth, that perch looks too small for anyone. One of the reasons I didn't buy the bike; not really I just can't afford it. I would if I could.
