ERM what u riding a moped :albino:

its max 1 to 1.5 hours more to ride to the campsite i have in mind which is just above hexam. that will be the base for the kielder / st marys run. the run itself probs be about 150 miles maybe a tad more.

roads are as demanding (if not more demanding) than the lakes / north yorks.

just thought you may fancy a change of scenery.

Lovely area... means I can whip my caravan up and sleep in relative comfort ... and I can drum up local support if we're a bit short on numbers!

Seriously, if AR is camping, I for one would prefer this to be bunkhouse type accommodation (either Sykeside or elsewhere).

Voted for my preferred date to make use of the BAnk Holiday, but could do any except 14 June.

i just did a aa route planer. it said 7½ hours, i then added on time for food stops toilet stops

and then stops to collect bits that have fallen off your bike:D

looks like i over estimated then?

i liked last years accomidation & route, i would be happy to do the same,
if st marys is only 1 hour futher, thats ok by me........ although i would prefere not to camp, what with the weather up there, and less hassle of bringing camping gearO:)
