I understand, but had I a nice, scratch free bike, I would be more interested in cleaning, taking care and generally being nice to said bike. I was looking to get something around about the ?1500-2000 mark, which I can afford with some change come April time. If I had extra money, I'd get an extra engine and stick it in the old bike, make it a bit of a project to sort it all out.

Call me lazy, but it sorta makes sense to me.

Also mate, I watched a whole bunch of your videos and I am completely in awe.

Take some pics; I am seriously tempted to get it and put a new motor in it (or resurrect the old one! .. you didn't answer, does it still run?!) ;)

Oh and thanx  I like making the vids as I can then watch them after the event and re-live it!! 8)

Poor thing ... you have certainly 'used' that!! :D

I find the lock stop problem disturbing ... in the crashes, have you knocked the stops off the bottom yoke or snapped that bit off the main frame?

It won't get through another MOT like that! Its more common for the lock stop tabs to break off the yoke than the frame, so presuming that is the case you will need a new bottom yoke ...

p.s. To get all up to speed, chakraist and I have spoken via PMs and I have offered to go help him transplant a new engine if he gets one. In exchange for my help, I have only requested that he ensures a tug-job from one (or more) of his lovely UNI lady friends ... :smt047 :D

Hehe, seriously though: I feel a bit sorry for chakraist, so we will get this sorted, but if anyone wants to take the bike on and chakraist is still willing to sell, then go for it!! ;)

ah, my lovely uni lady friends!

Watch this space as I'd quite like to get it all working, with blue's help, but if anybody does want the whole thing then I'd happily sell it as is, bolt all the bits back on and away you go.. well, as far as the back of a van, anyway.

I quite like that nobody has noticed there's no radiator on the bike... It's in a box in my kitchen
