yeah there was a queue so i left it there at 1 and picked it up at 4, he didn't clean the grease of the rims but he was busy and for the price i can't complain

There's lots of talk about new tyres, but i've always ridden them progressively harder and never had any issues. I think people make too big a thing about it.

You're also only meant to go around a roundabout 3 times. ;)

My philosophy is, if the tires don't grip when needed and I fall down and break the bike and/or my body parts, this is bad thing. So, I go with the stickest thing I can get. That way, if I end up recovering in a body cast, I can console myself that my injuries were not caused by my trying to be frugel. ;-) Consider the Michelin Pilot Road 2CT, two compound tire, super duper sticky on sides and sticky on the center.
