Want to have a steak but don't like the texture of meat?

Um, can I point out that as you're going to great lengths to cater for her dietary requirements that when you go to her house for a meal, make sure that you let her know your dietary requirementments. You are not a vegetarian,. you eat meat, hmmm, meat. And expect the same courtesy to be shown to you by her providing a meat course or two!

It's only fair.

I DID have a friend that for a laugh would go into Veggie restaurants and ask what the "carnivore special" of the day was........

I'm a veggie and have been for nearly two years! (Gotta kick this smoking habbit though ;)).

Try quorn chicken pieces with a curry sauce, throw in some onions and other veg. My ex ate meat but she proffered currys with quorn chicken as opposed to real chicken.

Some other good options have been mentioned (though I only read through two pages :p)

she seems quite sencible about it, not militant like some veggis. She said, 'youre going to eat it anyway, so I might aswell cook you somthing that you like to eat'

ok, heres one, has to be a comedy picture........ (which is cool as long as she never sees this thread! lol)
