Doesn't quite fit though. There is a gap between the fairing and the inside of the screen. It's because the OEM one is thicker at the top, but it's not too bad.

You can dremmel/file the offending bit to get it to fit though. I haven't but some people have

Cool - not sure how it all works as i have not been up there before on a bike. I normally mountain bike through there and always see the bikes. I am heading down to Cranleigh in the morning and the over to Newlands Corner for about lunch time to see whats going on ! Look out for me - i will have the helmet in my avatar on !

Is it noticible or can you only really see it if you are looking for it! Are all aftermarket screens like this ??

One more thing !!!

Untill i get my Akrapovic/Yoshi system i am thinking of trying to get a bit more burble out of my CCC can. The baffle is currently rivited in and I am not sure if this means that it should not be removed. Is it ok to drill the rivet out and remove the baffle?

What is the best addition to this ? Better air filter - if so which one K&N ??

To meet the law the removable baffle must be either riveted or spot welded into position. If it has one rivet at the bottom on the outlet cap then all you need to do is drill out the rivet and remove the baffle.

Hi DD - I got up early this morning and out with the drill to remove the rivet which was not really a problem! Thing is the baffle is still completely stuck in. I tried to gently ease it out with pliers but no go. I then rode to work to see if it would loosen it but no change - Am I missing something ???
