That's my K8 done, 4 hours of cleaning and ACF50! Bought the big bottle didn't realise how much a small amount covers thou.

I think the Scottish winter will give it a good test.

Oh yeah the likes of gear oil or heavy grease can be used to good effect to protect fasteners and such.
