Its a different link pipe to my high level Micron system. Yours is higher and has a different bracket to support the end can. On my system, the passenger footrest is retained, by using spacers suplied by Micron.

Not my bike, sourced the image from Google, I don't like Micron exhausts at all. The one in the picture has the proper pipe work throughout, maybe yours is twisted out a bit more making it appear lower. The clamp bolting the silencer to the subframe is the official Micron mounting set-up.

As you said you can retain the pillion pegs, Micron supply to spacers and two longer bolts which bring the pillion peg further out clearing the link pipe (the pillion peg does not connect to the exhuast on the high level system).

Nope the bracket on my Micron system hangs futher down, and uses the bolt from the rear brake reservior as the anchor point on the subframe. It also bends round the loops in the subframe.

The bracket on this one is shorter than mine.

Micron must have jiggled about with the length of link pipe and can hanger bracket.

Nope, no changes as the Curvy system was only made in one year.

Attachment 3099

Even accounting for the Micron can and the difference in the can strap, I don't think mine would be the same height as the one in your picture DDAttachment 3099

Fitted. Went together well but i made a few silly mistakes.

First off forgot to WD40 the bolts the night before but it was okay.

Secondly when doing up one of the clips i hadn't put the pipework together properly and it snapped. Luckily spare off the can's link pipe.

But it sounds lush without the baffle in too

Thank you to xxbadgerxx.

Anyone wanna buy a Pointy OEM pipework? :P

Looks the same to me, bear in mind the bracket has a little bit of adjust-ability in it.

One warning to make, the micron high level pipes in a wonderful piece of design are in the wrong place to accommodate rearsets.
