Re: I'm a new SV Owner!
It does need a bit of a clean after being out today. So a total newbie question, what's the best way to wash a roadbike? Bucket and sponge? Any parts of these that need regular attention to keep them nice?
I'll be getting some paraffin and grease to sort the chain out with. Also, comments on the colour, it was the only option for me! Looked at a blue / red cbr but just didn't do it for me! |
Re: I'm a new SV Owner!
wash list.
sponge, old sponge, shampoo, muck off or similar, toothbrush, bigger brush, furniture pollish, various cloths, basically the list is endless. as is the cleaning. oh and before kwak gets it in, autosol. |
Re: I'm a new SV Owner!
Same as the kit for cleaning the car plus the muck off then.
Should be alright, I'll get out there tomorrow night and get rid of the salt! |

Re: I'm a new SV Owner!
I use some car shampoo in hot water. first, wash it down with cold water from the hose, wash with the hot water and soap, then rinse, then dry. then lub the bits that move
