Depends if you can escape them and turn off the road in time, EG if it's a main road.. generally you'd back it off to be safe..

as always common sense provails. If your doing 100mph in a 30 zone he's gonna go for you. If your doing 80mph down the dual carriageway he ain't gonna touch you.
