Re-write of today: passed my driving test so had a few pints, chinese will be here soon, to be followed by a pint or three of home made cider and a roll around the sheets ;)

Well I shall mostly be playing with my toys;)

I'm still of work sick, so no bike stuff. Hanging with friends and more sky plus. Sigh I get bored being at home.

today, I saw how fast my new to me bike can go....
165 mph at 10,000 rpm in 6th.... in my garage..

then cleaned the chain as it was upto temp and rewaxed it.
de-iced the fridge... epic, top freezer box completey full of ice... were talking 8 inches deep by a foot square block at least....!
put crap up in the atic, found an old scanner in there and installed it on the computer so kids can scan stuff and send it to their rellies...

Now relaxing with some turbo cider...

Today - spirited ride up the Ponderosa via Ellesmere and Ruabon:p In the most pleasant company of Keith from the 675 site. Dang he's fast:cool: But there were only 5 bikes there - place was deserted. Few ramblers in red socks and a few mountain bike types in lycra, but otherwise 2 GSXRs, some rat bike cobbled together from plumbing leftovers, a Sachs something-or-other, and a CBR600RR.

Tomoz - other direction, Quatt, leaving S'bury at 8am. Anyone else going to be there?

Today, I have been mostly looking at gear in a variety of outdoor stores.

First off, I have finally found the thing I have always wanted... a semicircular pillow designed to fit in the hood of a mummy sleeping bag.

I've also bought a new tent... complete with motorcycle garage :D (but for only £79).
