Right, went to Maidstone...


well a Oxford bumbag i was looking at in an expensive Maidstone bike shop, was £16 in the other shop, HG = £20. No Sale.

The only "real" deals were on 1 piece leathers, reduced from £700 to £400 etc. Most bash hats were not in the sale, they wanted £35 for waterproof overthrow TROUSERS (not jacket!!!). Summer gloves were not reduced.

Basically, the sale items, bar the 1 piece leathers, were all cr4ppy items that no-one bought, so they are trying to flog them off. Wasn't impressed by the same at all though. Like a shopping centre, all the sale items were the cr4ppy items, and all the nice stuff was full priced still :lol:

See, there's your problem!

The Welling branch have much friendlier staff and they normally have more of a variety when it comes to the sale stuff as well.

Yeah but im only 5 miles from Maidstone so popped there during lunch.

Welling, well its do-able, but not without seeing 3 figures there and back all the way :lol:

Don't actually think i've been to HG in Welling? Aee Gees, but not HG?

Meh, I used to see a ton every night on the way home, usually on that compleltly free inside lane, that everyone is too scared to use.

But i don't anymore ;)

Red arlen ness jacket was £200 save £40 so £160

Black arlen ness trousers was £300 save £150 so £150

Total £310 4theride discount as well £294 quid, bargin!

Me, went there with the view to buy nothing, came out with some white arlen ness gloves was £79.99 down to £63.99 4theride discount about £60.74, i could of walked away but i know them all in there too well so got egged into buying them...

I got osme gortex textile pants for £138 instead of about £225 I think they were, that was a good deal. I have been looking for these for ages I have a hard time, one finding what fits, then something I can afford;thats good quality.
