Bored of looking at the sort of poop that £1000 buys now! I was in this position at Christmas and ended up with a 1998 BMW 316i Compact (had to be reasonably sensible) but it wasn't easy to find something worth owning, realistic to run and within budget.

umh.... Its red and italian and a coupe.. shame its a fiat really, but if thats the 5 pot motor they sound lovely...

Cost more than 250 quid to get that left hand side repaired, just cost my dad 230 quid to get a tiny dent and a scratch taken out :\
