Yes, I've the same problem.

I should have reported the driver of the car who gave me some grief on my pushbike the other day. But the old red mist came down and blinded my thinking process.

Then he was up the road and gone before I could register his number plate

The sensible thing to do is pull over.

More rewarding thing to do is 'accidently' make contact with their mirror with you're armoured gloves. ;)

it's always so tempting to do this. i've never yet resorted to it. i've found a good finger point, lots of shouting and showing of the nice solid kevlar (or whatever it is) on the back of my gloves is enough for them to see my side

Personally, I would have just put my own safety first and let her overtake you. If thats her normal style of driving then she'l either have an accident or get caught by the police eventually..!

Naturally you do things in the heat of the moment and it isnt until afterwards that you think of alternative ways you could have reacted. Just be thankful you didnt get knocked off and she didnt run anyone else down..!

Have read through all of the thread and thanks for your opinions.....

I did contemplate reporting it to the police if I'd have remembered the number plate, but a bit of "what is this bint doing?" came to play and had to be concerned about not getting knocked off first. Saying that I was probably in the wrong for speeding up as she attempted to over take me so would probably land me in some trouble too!

One of the great pleasures in biking is annoying cars by sticking to the speed limit in a 30 zone, then speeding up to 39 in the following 40 zone.... then absolutely nailing it at the national speed limit sign is passed :)

pull over let them pass call your police biker mate to catch up with you (hands free kit through your helmet) they lose there licence on dangerious driving speeding etc. otherwise follow them when they pull over shout at them, inconvience to you but they get scared alot better, carry a black bag to make your get away without being caught!

otherwise at lights on green take there rear lens with your foot then mirror with your hand, then a good backwards kick takes the front lens, take will get them 9 points on there licence and you 3 points for aggressive driving so you win that one!

i would really like to see you try to smash a car headlight lens with your foot whilst mounted on a motorcycle :p

You also need to work on your legislation. Lighting offences don't attract penalty points, however criminal damage will cost you plenty....
