Wow, I told Mr Lou about this thread, and now he's making some more pasta! I had the urge for a chinese dish tonight, so he's making the noodles! Yum, can't wait!

It was very good.

But I have discovered that raw pasta does not taste very nice, and leaves somewhat of an after taste. A lesson to be learned there.

I should point out here that Squirrel took it upon himself to try some raw pasta all of his own accord....I cooked our pasta for the meal!

Well done, though I'm not sure I'd want to eat pasta that's been dried out where Stretchie's underpants were hanging a few hours earlier.

Eh? That would involve washing them... Does not compute

When you can't mix any more flour with the fork......start using your fingers to bring it to a dough, then need for two mins, wrap in cling film, rest for 30 mins and off you go. I ran it through the pasta maker, decresing the tickness each time for 8 times, folding when needed. All in all, stupidly ridiculously easy to make....Stretchie had a go too...it's incredibly satisfying to see it coming out of the pasta maker and then doing what you want with it. Just shape it or run it through a cut setting, leave to dry for 40 mins or so and cook....

Easy peasy, lemony squeezy!:chef:

Thankyou! Gonna have a go myself (:smurfin:) neighbour emmigrated and left me loads of cool stuff including a pasta maker :smt020
