Both wanted to, so couldn't see the issue.

16 and 15 is fine as far as im conserned.

I still stand by the fact that we need to educate - I don't think that we can stop it happening.
I don't think there should be a safe age where you get a slap on the wrists but that's a whole can of worms that is not for this forum
you'll then start have safe limit for other laws - whats's acceptable before it's abuse, road racing - is it ok because both parties agreed to it. They know it's illegal but they both agreed. Safe limits for speeding, blood sports, portection/raqueting???

My first grandchild came about as a result of my lads girlfriend being young, stupid, under age and thick.

She is still thick, but at the same time a damm good mum so I won't knock her too much. But if you are going to have regular sex, there is a damm good chance that a pregnancy might just happen. So damm well do something about it.

OK, they lied to us and told us she was older than she was. We had given him condoms, after all we wanted to protect our lad. My wife had also told her mum that they were sexually active, but she denied her daughter was like that. Never said that she was only 15. within weeks a group of 8 15/16 year old girls were pregnant locally.

The idiots had all planned it. One announces she is pregnant, all her mates think it is a good idea. The only thing was in the lads case, nobody knew until the day of the birth.
