The 2 bikes i've owned are the k9 pointy n a er6f (which is inline 4 i believe). The pointy feels miles better than the er6 ever did :P. Still what about test riding some sprints etc theres plenty of orgers with em!

ER6F is a Parrallel twin . Not keen on the sprint , I prefer a more sit up position as well on a tall bike . My hips don`t half take a ragging when I`m on the gas on a good day and going for it . I`d like the fun without walking around afterwards like an old man who`s cacked himself

Yes I have been keeping an eye on release dates for that and also as a possible future buy in about 5 years , they are bound to start trading in pretty soon but we shall see .

How about an SV1000 fitted with a set of straight bars. I'm guessing an Aprilia Tuono is a bit over budget?

I already have the 650 SV with ABM comfort kit and my hips hurt even on a K3 with higher subframe , Sv1000 seat and dropped pegs . The Sv1000 would just be a sideways step . The Tuono is in the same budget area as the KTM and is under consideration until I can get to see one , went to A+D in Denbigh who are our only Aprilia dealers in North Wales and they didn`t have a single Tuono in stock .

Surely early ones aren't, and they are a quality bike. Also possibly a Falco.
