Surely thats good customer service, no?
She could have just said, 'nope we dont do it, sorry' then left you to go find it yourself elsewhere.
What kind of attitude did she say it with? I guess its hard to tell without being there.
I have to agree with this too, you've got a shop where extremely rich people go to spend £30k on a Louis Vuitton suitcase without blinking an eye. Why would they want a group of screaming kids with a couple of carers walking around the shop like it's a museum when they clearly arnt going to buy anything? It may not be the demands of the shop... but those of the customer. The one thats spending the £30k keeping the shop in business.

G - from the reports I've read, it wasn't a case of having a group of screaming kids with carers as you put it. They also excluded a football team recently...seems they were all wearing the team tracksuit which didn't quite go with the impression that they are trying to put out to a particular part of the public. If I was to turn up there in uniform and was denied entry for whatever reason, rest assured the whole bloody country would know about it.
Ed - I'm with you on this - It's not easy being in sales, however, if you can't be civil and polite, then maybe you should get a different job instead of making out you're the 'big I am'.
