TBH some warp speed filtering makes you remember what your missing.

I've not been out on mine since Thursday.

It's effing freezing at the moment even with thermals under my leathers. Tyres are so cold it's like having wooden wheels and after 30 minutes of salt spray I'm riding in fog.

Worst of all are the numpties who are taking the kids to school with all their windows steamed up and mirrors covered in ice. SMIDSYs waiting to happen.

So you're not missing out on much at the moment,

Keith.

Wish I could drive though, it's too cold, my hands ache, the skin on my face is getting sore and the salt is rotting my bike in front of my eyes. I want to hibernate like a bear! :-({|=

hehe, well you could be a proper poof like my little bro....he gets a taxi to the end of the road!

And when I say proper poof, I mean gay;)

ive not ridden my bike for nearly 2.5 years (except 2 wee 30 min trips). I dont miss it. Keep contemplating selling my bike but as it only costs me £6 a month insurance I have decided to keep a hold of it. I do love my bike but so scared about actually riding it, cos im really really crap now. When I first passed my test I went out at every opportunity. I think the fact that I lived on the banks of loch lomond and had so many fantastic roads around helped. I find the roads down here so busy when its nice weather, it puts me off, Im not a huge fan of filtering.

Not been out for a while 'cos of the bad weather, and now it's off the road 'cos I took the exhaust off and it fell apart. It's driving me nuts, want to go for a ride.

Hi Kitkat,

Maybe we need to schedule another relaxed ride when the weather warms up.

Keith.

I've struggled with that too, sometimes find you do nothing but plan one overtake after another and it gets frustrating.

Extremely frustrating in the cage that it takes forever to get anywhere, and can just snarl up at any time of day because of the tiniest little thing, there is no spare capacity on the roads at all. To the extent that I'm really starting to hate driving the car and wish I could just go everywhere by bike. Turning up to meetings in leathers and with helmet hair is not accepted though, nor officially is using a motorbike for business use at work, though that doesn't stop me using it to get to internal meetings.

70 miles from Kingswinford to Kettering, took me nearly 3 hours on Friday night. An hour to cross Dudley, and hour on the Birmingham section of the M6 and another 45 minutes home.

I've not been on my bike since the Sunday of the AR this year...yep, August 8th! I have had no desire to get back on. Can't describe it.
