Well. The store refunded the item, but i've got to wait up to 7 days for a refund from the delivery service.

****ing rubbish!

Major complaint going to Argos and the OFT.

Went to Argos today to collect mine and asked to view before I paid, they were the crap ones, so I left them.

They are smaller than the Oxford ones, about the same capacity as a shoe box, that's before the Oxford ones are expanded, these ones are not expandable, no outside pockets, and as far as I could tell no waterproof covers. Far inferior product.

I know one of the directors at Oxprod, I'll drop him a mail.

Blimey Ralph. 3 trips to Argos and all the wrong panniers.

Yep, got the crap ones in Ireland too... Probably worth about what I paid but I would never have paid full price... There are detachable rain covers but they'll probably blow off once moving! I'll hold on to them just because they came in a nice bag. I'll send a mail to Argos but only to tell them to sort out the reviews and picks. They'll have no prob refunding if I change mh mind over the weekend.

If it looks too good to be true it probably is :-)

Since I posted the original thread, and there seems to be only one lucky Argos shopper, can I just say a huge sorry guys! I shared the info in good faith.

I feel quite lucky here! But I can't seriously be the only one to have got the real deal?!
