Tinpants - Hugs
Dealing with the aftermath is the hard part. But do what husk says he speak sense. My own experience is that I wish my cousin didn't cry for help, attempted suicide twice and now has major mental health issues. It sounds harsh but i think it wiuld be a better result than his lifes as it stands |
Re: Passer By Pushes Suicide Man
Thanks guys. I'll be shedding a tear for him and his family in private later, followed by the raising of a pint or two of cider to one of the nicest blokes I've ever met. Wherever he is now I hope he is at peace.
As an aside, I agree 100% with Ralph's piece on euthanasia. Very eloquently put my friend. |

Re: Passer By Pushes Suicide Man
I spared a thought for Mark last night.
We had a jumper on Barton high level bridge (the M60 bridge by the Trafford Centre) last night. He was talked back from the wrong side of the railings and taken to a psych ward. Unluckily for him, when he parked his three week old car on the roundabout at the access to the bridge and walked away from it, he left the keys in the ignition. Needless to say, his car was stolen... Pete ;) |

"well done mate, thats right, come back over the railings, good, now the other foot, well done. By the way your car's been nicked." |
Re: Passer By Pushes Suicide Man
The car might be recovered. Whoever nicked it was an opportunist who came across it, so unless the guy has been very unlucky, the thief doesn't have the contacts to dispose of a 3 week old car. It'll be sitting in a garage somewhere whilst the thief wonders what the hell to do with it. Maybe it'll turn up joy ridden and burned out or trashed.
