i started tying fishing flies and fly fishing at 8 years old and its still one of my hobbies.

i have played the guitar since i was 8 years old and i'm still crap at it.

i can't dance.

I'm fairly handy with a fly rod.

I can balance anything on my nose (including chainsaws! :-) )

I can fix just about any thing ever made short of a nuclear submarine and if they gave me the manual I'd have a go! :-)

I can speak (or rather used to be able to) Mandarin Chinese (fukien) without an accent.

I'm quite good at Yoga despite never doing it! :-)

I have several patents. None of which actually earn me any money :-)

well probably not anymore as i've not tried in years :p

Not sure if it wasn't beginners luck but for a mates stag do, we went clay pigeon shooting. Never been before/first time last year unlike the stag and others who attended. The instructor was convinced i was a stooge as I hit everything he flung at us. Maybe years of playing video games or playing Nerf with the boy but apparently I'm a crack shot when the stakes mean the winner gets a drink bought by everyone else :)

I have other talents including crocheting baby blankets (will come in handy soon) and various others non-amazing silks i.e. I'm not a terrible singer however I cannot walk up walls or shoot laser beams from my eyes.

Same thing for me, wife got me a clay pigeon shooting day for a gift and the guy was shocked how good I was for my first time.

I am pretty handy with guns tbh as I've shot tons of different guns and ammo in Texas when working over there in the 90's, when I first tried it I took to it straight away and was hitting targets really consistently.

I've got some on 8mm video so will have to convert it and post it up sometime.

I can do that, although I've not tied any for a long time, still got my box of materials

I can cook, iron & wash, so generally house trained:p

I can speak German despite being a dunce at learning any language at school, I was a late developer.

I am some kind of genetic freak, as for my age, I can maintain ridiculously high heart rates whilst cycling

Following on from Patrick Moore, it has been known for me to hold a tune on guitar, flute, clarinet, piano...............and kazzooooooooooooooo!

I have painted many murals, a few 20 ft up in the air on a scaffold, so pretty big. I've done sets for pantomimes, painted lazerquest scenes in glow paint, in the dark, I have A levels in Ceramics, I don't use a wheel to throw pots. . . not that you need one when throwing them at Greek blokes;)

Oh.......and I can wolf whistle through my teeth without using my fingers to make it loud :D

I've got very bendy thumbs. That may be considered a feature rather than a talent tho.
