But then if you haven't really been following the thread it's not clear which bits you've added & which bits are actually quoted. #30 was way confusing & interest was lost :(

It makes it a pain in the *rse to quote what you've said. Anyway...

My recollection of doing the theory is that probably 80% of it was real, common sense stuff, that you actually needed to know, and then some bollox thrown in for a good measure.

If you're going to admit to passing a p*ss easy test by a fluke then tell every one else they're wrong for finding it easy, what do you expect? A pat on the back?

And if you're going to have the attitude of wasting peoples time reading your posts then that doesn't set a very good precedent next time you break something and need someone to tell you how to fix it. Why should anyone who knows what they're about waste their time to help you?

Because its part of the spirit of being a member of a forum specialising in a specific field.

The way you put your previous post would scare people away, not welcome someone in to the forum.

If you hadn't noticed, the OP put a ;-) at the end of his post. This facial expression generally means that what he said was a joke, or something along those lines. Unless you are autistic, your reply was totally unnecessary...

Unless I misread something... I also couldn't really understand the OP's thread due to bad grammar..

Attitude of wasting peoples time, well if your sat on the computer :smt024 reading away its not me wasting your time ... you dont have to read the thread as the title is probably no interest to some people anyway, Also i like to think of it as im giving people something to read and join in on
Iv not asked for any help, & if i did it would be in a diffrent section therefore the banter goes out and the serious matter comes into play :smt035 :smt067

Good luck.

Btw, sometimes there are some trolling comments about. I thought the original post was something positive. Then people feel the need to make a general comment about the state of the test, whether it was easier or harder 100 years ago and lamenting the yoof of today and facebook.

Forum posts can sometimes lose the context or real sentiment behind them so as to appear more negative, but I wish some people here would take the time to consider how a newer, more inexperienced poster feels before giving their expert view.

And IMO its the height of arrogance for someone to assume they have so much invaluable knowledge in their big heads, but that they would withhold it from someone who needs help because of an insignificant post. I appreciate the advice and views on the site but wish people could be more gracious about giving this advice.

On a more positive note, I hope you pass all the tests and enjoy what we here now have the privilege to take for granted sometimes. Take it one step at a time and prepare as best as possible but don't try to run before you can walk (e.g. ride the bike illegally). You have all the time in the world to enjoy your riding.

Ride safe
