Found this amusing... The total cost of components of iPhone4 is $178.. Of that $46 worth of components or 26% of iphone components are supplied by Samsung, most importantly the critical RAM, Flash and even the hyped A4 processor that's the heart of the iphone.

SSL VPN and VNC were just two of them.

My S2 supports VPN i just dont use it. No hacking required comes with it sraight out the box.

SSL VPN ? - I had an S2 as well as a Samsung galaxy tab, sold them both as they didn't do it for me made a huge loss on the tab.
Both purchased to replace my apple stuff, the old apple gear worked better so I kept it.

oh and by the way the Samsung tab cost more than the ipad.

Quiff, so you know, the screen on the S3 is the same size as the entire iPhone3. This said size was a consideration with my other half (Shes used to small things) but she can handle its size and loves it over her old iPhone 3gs

S3.

I have had 3 versions of iphone now and made the move to the Galaxy S3 a few weeks ago.

What on earth had I been waiting for?!

I have the exact same apps on this as I did on the iphone and all of them run better on the Samsung.

People say wait for the iPhone as it's coming in autumn... this may be the case but in true apple style, it will be delayed a further few months after this.

Everyone also says to wait for the 'new' expected phone to hit the market, why? If you do this then we may as well all be using our 3210's and waiting for the iPhone 37 to be released.

The S3 is ample for anything anybody needs. The iPhone 5 may come out and be wonderful (which it won't as they now feed off of Android ideas - watch this space, iphone 5 will finally have widgets...).

I went down the route of the S3 and then bought an ipad3 so that I wouldn't lose apps and songs which I had bought through itunes.

Don't get me wrong, apple products are beautiful. I almost couldn't bring myself to sell my iphone 4 after two year in a case when I took it out, it was like brand new! However a change is always good, usually, and I very very very much doubt that you would be disappointed with a purchase of an S3.

P.s. The size is just perfect.

No, not at all.

The S3 is in my pocket all day everyday and used to death.

The ipod is sat at home on the side of the sofa for evening use instead of a laptop when bored.

Moral of the story is that for everyday use as a phone and multi media whatever, I choose Android.
