Just to bring this subject back to life. The catalytic converters are fitted into the end cans on the new range of SVs I now suspect that if this process was removed using the original can (NOT what I am recomending here) then the un-burnt gasses will bugger up the cat in time. But most people will in the end replace there end cans because 1 Its Cheaper than an original 2 bike looks and sounds better. The drawback is this system (PAIR) will cause the popping and backfires with aftermarket cans. Very much more on the 1000 more than enough to blow the rubber mounts where the throttle bodies that join the air box. |
Re: PAIR REMOVAL MODIFACATION
has anybody done the pair mod to their bike?
i have a baffled road legal can and don't have any kind of popping or banging on the over run... i wouldn't mind some like... |
