its all very hard, i was stripping the bike down at the weekend, cleaning all the parts, and while i was doing it, i was thinking to myself, it is in such good condition, it felt very wrong, it would be a big shame to put an SV to the grave, especialy with such low miles.

i have been looking for engines, i am trying to find an engine with less than 10k miles on it, is proving difficult! but i will keep trying.

i havnt made my mind up, but like i said, i will not shift the parts until i find a buyer for the frame.

its nice to have all you recomend to keep the bike in 1 peice, nice to have people care

its for a pointy which is injection

shame, because its 3 miles away from me

hovis 25-09-06 05:09 PM

could u make it fit??

adam_castell 25-09-06 05:17 PM

would cost alot of money because i would also need throttle bodies and all elecrics too, and maybe even things like new air box that might not even fit under the tank????

unless i spoke to some one that had done it before,,, i wouldnt even attempt

I may have missed something here (probable because I only skip read threads) but why does the engine need to have less than 10k miles on it. The SV engine is good for many more than that, mines just gone over 50k miles.

just so i can get as longer life out of it as possible, and it will match the bike mileage then

You dont need the 33bhp restrictor kit to make it work.
