How Bizarre, I had to check that and according to my Mappoint you are quite correct, jct 12 is Runcornish and 14 some place called Hapsford.

BTW should the title now be :- Today is Friday the 13th.

and its bloody unlucky.

Got the bike out after doing all the prep work for the MOT, start it up (all ready to get it sorted) Think i'll just double check that number plate light. And its broken again, and whist fixing that the bike blew a tail light.

******* machine.

I forgot about friday the 13th and I rode the bike in. It's got it's MOT booked for later too  It'll probably fail now and cost me a fortune to fix it :(

Well my friday 13th started well. Got the high-vis police lookalike jacket from Stu, decided to wear it today on the ride in to work.

During the commute...
"Do you know why I've stopped you sir?" :( I honestly didn't have a clue, until he informed me that "impersonating an officer is an offence." Ah, that'll be the jacket then.

Made me a little ****ed off, you can clearly tell it's not a police jacket from the back (esp if you're used to wearing them daily! fss!), so I explained, he checked the rest of the bike over (which is all stock, but a little dirty). I got a firm telling off for not cleaning my bike, and he let me on my way.

A little late to the office, but ho hum, better late than dead.

On a brighter note, if a copper can get the jacket confused, so will everyone else. But that does mean they all drive 5mph below the posted limit. :|

Yep that was covered on page 4 of that article I linked to.

If people who lived before the late 1800s perceived Friday the 13th as a day of special misfortune, no evidence has been found to prove it. As a result, some scholars are now convinced the stigma is a thoroughly modern phenomenon exacerbated by 20th-century media hype.
