The additional £3k I'm sure you'd want if I pxed my sv would be the problem for me. Weirdly, I could insure it.

You insure it for me, and I'll happily keep her in full working order for you. Naturally I'd have to test it out, daily, say, on my commute, and don't forget weekends, it'll need some sun you know!

Now, how much would I get for my K6 with just shy of 16k miles on the clock?

I'd love it mate... I saw one growling away at the lights in my local town the other day... Gorgeous...

Guy on it was wearing one of these:

Which also looked nice...

The only thing that is stopping me is a lack of the folding stuff

Oh lordy, that's tempting.

I've been having evil thoughts of trading up to something like that from my SV650S K4. The trouble is, it would be used for commuting from Blackheath to Central London and I'm worried it would be too focussed/mental to do that.

I'll also need to get a few insurance quotes to see how ridiculous that can get. The good thing is I do have a garage where I'm living, which should help.

I used to have a K3 SVS and in all honesty it is no more impratical than that was ok it's a little heavier. Riding style is similar still weight on your wrists and the turning circle is ****e. ;)

But unless your gonna go for a tourer you will find all sports bikes the same :)

I pay around £300 fully comp for my CBR1100XX, a GSXR-1000 would be £690 and an RSV-R £528 - all with eBike insurance.

That's the problem with insurance quotes they are so individual specific and relative to area, riding experience, alarm, garage blah blah blah
