Re: Off
what a funking nightmare, hope your ok and get your moneys worth out of the council...
Sadly its common practice in the council (or the one I worked for) to go out in unroadworthy cars/vans... You moan they do nothing, you moan again they do nothing, so you moan once more and are shown the door... I had many scary moments in council cars, specially the astra can they had that had NO BRAKES!!! the quote I was given when I came back in after about 600 yds, was; 'f*ck it mate, if you wanna stop use the gearbox and the handbrake if you must, stop being a pussy get out there, and do some work' here's hoping your come up trumps, |
Re: Off
Stuarty,
Sorry to hear about accident, hope its all going to get fixed (u and bike) I'm a driving instructor and get really *&^%ed off when folk are running on 2 out of three brake lights or in the case of vans drivers and older cars 1. People often overlook the fact that lights are a simple thing to check but so important, Its a very good thing that you were keeping the correct distance. As mentioned before I think you should try and take these guys to the cleaners, as for the driver who KNEW the lights were out......bring back hanging |
