Yeah, it's an odd one. I tried to get rid of a girlfriend for about a year. When it finally happened I felt oddly down about it too!

Now see, I've been in a relationship for around 18months in the past. At least 6 months of that I wanted out.

When I was out, I certainly didn't feel down about it. Quite the opposite. :D Does that make me a bad person? :( :lol:

Though this is a very old thread, so I suspect the OP has got over it by now...

I was so happy to finally be free! But there was something lurking in the back of my mind ****ing me off.

However, my current gf is a hot hot hottie, so I'm more thank happy :thumbsup:

I do wish there was a little "resurrected" icon next to these really old threads, then I wouldn't keep reading the first post and wondering how I'd missed the thread! :rolleyes: :-D
