Re: 31/8/07 will you be there?
hey peeps can we all start at frith at least. I'll deal with any traffic wardens on the prowl. Only if IAATP or another copper gets sgirty about us being there shpould we move. Traffic wardens have no powers over us and for the last 3yrs at least we've all ignored them.
The more they think they can move us on the more they will try, if they call the cops etc then we go, until then NO! Its our meeting place and i aint giving it up without a fight! |

Mate, they DONT have the right to tamper with our bikes. They MUST have a supervisor present to do so as a witness so we dont claim they caused damage to our bikes.
if one tries to tamper with your bike get your cameraphone out qand take a picture and reprt him for criminal damage. We should not be bullied away by these nobs! |
Re: 31/8/07 will you be there?
I'm not gonna be there this week, but I'm inclined to believe in Spidey's wisdom.
Which is strange... |

I convinced the others who were already at the square to give Frith a try and i'm happy to say that we had no trouble from either the cops or the wardens. Ok the chap from the Indian restaurant did come out and ask if we could not park where he has his cones (even tho its hugely illegal having them there). I had a nice chat with him and i think if we can, as Org members, try and stay off his coned off area we should be OK and he will just complain about the individuals who park there and are rude/aggresive toward him when he asks them not to. After all they are trying to run a business there and if they genuinely feel like we are putting their customers off then we should play their game and give them no reason to moan at us Orgers. I'm sure if ANY of us ran a business and thought business was down due to those who are hanging about outside we would make an effort to get those poeple to stop hanging about there wouldnt we? I cant see how we are putting their customers off tbh, but as long as they are the only ones complaining and we Soho massive give them nothing to complain about then everything should be hunky dory. Maybe we should have our Soho X-mas do there this year, make friends with the owner/manager dude and once he's seen us in "normal" clothes, acting the same way we do otuside on the street (ie being generaly cool peeps who have all the girls and guys drooling over us) they may diffentiate between "bikers" and "Orgers" and target their complaints to the cops about individuals as opposed to "bikers". Or we could simply end up eating food with a lot of spit in it served by nicely smiling peeps with evil in their eyes. |
