Face up to it Jello, you are too old for it all now.

A Burgmann, or perhaps - if you want British - an LE Velocette.

You calling my J2 a tourer??? :smt065 I kept up with a 999 at the weekend round st mary's loch and blew the @rse off 3 07 model 600rr's at knockhill last month.

That's obviously why I seem to ride faster on a 600 then....

Fact is my knees don't like being held in that position for 90 minutes at a time, you can blame that on the stupid air head who crossed the road without looking 5 years ago... That's when I ripped the ligaments in my knees, and they've never been the same since......

Age is a state of mind (and I'll state that I don't mind being this old ;))

Er no...they were intermediates at the John Weir Honda track day. Well documented in the SV eccosse section.

Oh and the guy on the black 07 zx6r was just as easy

Ive been pillion on hubby's Triumph Sprint ST and the RS (which he has now), the ST was good but the RS was even better (speaking as a pillion), comfortable as an armchair - couldnt fault it. HTH

Okay, well a one legged old man then! Maybe I just have a lack of natural fear then, I too made short work of some much quicker bikes and a few 'seasoned' riders on the ring. There was me on my little Hornet giving it everything she had (and a bit more) I would probably be slower on the Ninja tbh.

Besides EVERYONE knows green is the fastest colour!

End of derailment! :p

See I was thinking of upgrading to the 07 bike at the end of the year but why bother when my J2 is every bit as good and comes in the faster yellow. Maybe I'll buy a blade.

Oh no it's not...oh yes it is...oh...

Actually...to be fair. The J2 is very comfy. I've been travelling to Hexham evry 2nd weekend and back for the past two months (240 mile round trip) plus hooning around at Keilder in between and no sore @rse. never had sore knees. Only the ocassional sore wrist. The J2 can keep up with just about anything - blades, 999s r1s on the straights and as fast as anything else round the twisties. But it's something newer you're looking for which might put it out of consideration.

Back on track - lol
