Been to wine tasting this evening so many different tastes of wine, Laithwaites were running it, they have finally chosen Chichester as one of their tasting places, long may it last, lovely evening £7.80 to get the bus there for the two of us, £18.00 to get a taxi home because no buses home after 19.40 which is a bit rubbish.

Belated post due to my work commitments but Tuesday night was Double Capt Morgans and coke followed by double rum N Black before slowing down onto the finer stuff of a 18yo Highland Park and 15yo Dalwhinnie. An enjoyable evening propping up the bar.

Re: The Org Bar, Pull up a chair and share. What're you drinking?
Coming rather late to the thread...
Been on the rather refreshing Thatchers cider this week, sadly the Westons vintage cider is a bit too sweet to really cut it. Still a good accompaniment to the champions league finale. Just a shame footballers go down just as easily as the cider does. Pansies. |

The Org Bar, Pull up a chair and share. What're you drinking?
A LONG weekend of work ahead as it is go live weekend for our project meant that I got home at 7 today and poured a can of Pepsi max into my jar and topped it off with a quadruple shot of captain Morgans.
I'm working on the anti hangover theory that after a few good drinks (perhaps two of these) I'll bounce out of bed tomorrow morning fresh and ready to tackle the myriad of (minor) issues we're likely to face. Cheers! Go play this: http://youtu.be/ukick72Qafc |
Re: The Org Bar, Pull up a chair and share. What're you drinking?
In the local offy earlier on my eye was drawn to the blue star. Haven't had a Newkie Broon for bloody years says I...yoink. I'll have a few of them.
Raging. The back label now contains Geordie "facts" that are presumably designed to appeal to Americans (did yee knar.....FFS) but worse, it's now brewed by the tykes. How. The. ****? Apparently this happened years ago. Why do I not remember the riots? Well that's my bloody last. It's nothing less than Beer fraud. Terroir ya cnuts, terroir. |
Re: The Org Bar, Pull up a chair and share. What're you drinking?
I feel your pain, Tam!!
Known locally as "a dog". It was very funny in the mid 90s when a scouse mate of mine at uni (in Durham) was trying to buy a bottle of that alco lemonade stuff called "two dogs" and kept being presented with two Newcastle browns. Him and the barman took an age to sort that out :D Mick.. |

As above, nice deep sleep for an early start tomorrow.
Not sure if ideal coping mechanism or project inducing alcoholism. Think I might've already had it though ;-) Loving the iOS 8 keyboard! |
Re: The Org Bar, Pull up a chair and share. What're you drinking?
Got a new one to try tonight. Weihenstephan Kristall Weissbier. German beer;brewed in Germany.

Double woodford reserve for me tonight. Long week of work but "It's getting better man" Couple of reusable ice cubes (don't want to dilute) and a round bottomed glass and wearing a suit still, drinking like a sir! http://img3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb2...like_a_sir.jpg |
