Thanks Plowsie, anyone else help much appreciated. How about roads? A roads, B roads, would people prefer less dual carriageways and motorways? few twists and turns? Skip, can you let me know your route, wouldn't want to take the same route

As little dual carriage/motorway as possible for me.

I don't know that area too well, I remember from a girlfriend I had in melton that there's a fairly nice road between melton mowbray, through oakham to stamford where my sister lives.

If I knew more I'd help more :-/ sorry

To be honest I thought the route we did last time was great! (Even if I do say so myself! lol)

Something along these lines is fine :)

Although I seem to remember the road of bones (B660) was a tad bumpy for your nether regions:D

You bugger

I've been trying to make a route like that on google maps, I've made the route fine using the directions thing, but I don't know how to save it as a map like that :-/

That looks quite good, goes right close to me too, I'm in Histon. I've got a tank of petrol circuit that I do that uses some of that

No live stock on this one either....eh Skip:pig:........:smt117

I'm planning a couple of rides for this year, but I need to do a bit of scouting. Best thing is Sean, just do what you can, post the details and see who turns up. I only started riding again last year and found all those that attended my novice rideouts were easy going and forgiving. The only one you'll have any trouble from is PETE!!!:smt110......he can't go five miles without wanting to get his mouth round a nice fat sausage:cheers:
