IMO keep it simple. All we need is a sticky thread "Monthly Meet". If we always make it the 1st weekend of each month ( alternating Saturday & Sunday ) then we dont have the impossible task of finding a date that suits everyone. All we need to come up with and vote on each month is a location for a meet or ride out route. A meet every month at different locations should give the maximum amount of people a chance to attend wherever they are based.
First months already sorted we have at least a dozen people wanting to do the catherine wheel run on Feb. 2nd so lets do it :grin:
Next one Sunday March 2nd ? Catherine wheel again if you want or post up your alternative.
What does everyone think ?

I like the idea of adding the recognised meeting points like said earlier ... Yorks = squires

Im a new rider and dont know my round to much so somewhere like squires is easy for me as a starting point untill i get to know the routes

The Pennine Massive is so MASSIVE in area that each month could be the responsibility of one of our mini regions to organise, ie Yorks, then Lancs, then Norf East, then Cumbrians etc. each area hosts the event and introduces the rest of the massive to their fave roads/rides out and coffee spots.

Sounds like a good idea this monthly meet. Will try to make Feb 2nd next weekend.

PS beginning of the month is good as I've still got petrol money at that stage ;)

Dave the rave and i are going for a jolly on the catherine wheel route
as iv never been round that neck of the woods sunday 27th so i can get a taster of whats there,
im still down for the 2nd feb but wanted to go tommoz also so if any1 sees us give us a nod :-)

Right, whilst we seem to have a few people interested, Ive posted a new thread " monthly meet" with details of the catherine wheel run for Feb 2nd.
Lets see if we can get this monthly meet thing to work.

Right, will be doing the service on the bike tomorrow & Tuesday and will try to get it MOT'd for say Friday so that way I should be able to make it to this meet!
