Re: Suzy bares all!!
Looking really good, Dizzy. You must be pleased:D
I did the forks on our first SV the hard way................Nitromors, wet and dry and Autosol...................and with them still on the bike too:rolleyes: That was a challenge:D The polishing wheel just speeded the whole process up the second time............and didn't make my fingers as sore. I still had to do the Nitromors bit though:D |
Re: Suzy bares all!!
think I must have had my polishing head on today, it started with polishing the other SV this morning.I got some brush on rust thing for the front subframe yesterday, painted that on this aft an wadooyaknow, it disappeared. so now i can tackle repainting that. Then I've spent a few hours doing the forks...so a good productive day....just shows you what an arguement with your employer will do...lol

Re: Suzy bares all!!
Surely a nice bit of colour coding via a powder coating would look nice?
|
Re: Suzy bares all!!
erm, maybe. The yolks aren't too bad, they were always blathered in some sort of oily substance to protect them..don't fancy colour coding the entire bike yellow though...lol

Re: Suzy bares all!!
Grrrrrrr
Calipers are corroded solid. T*r-w*t. |
Re: Suzy bares all!!
maybe go black with them? Or go daft and get them chromed, that is merely an option and in no way a suggestion, let alone one which I endorse!
