Does anyone actually eat Doner Kebabs sober :smt104??

<waves>

Me, me , me.

It's difficult for me to eat one drunk when I dont do booze.

I take the stance that they are a little piece of greasy meaty paradise. Everyone should include them in a balanced diet.

But only good ones, my local does a corker of a mixed kebab on naan bread. mmmmmm

Yes - I'm disgusting. :mrgreen:

How can you even consider a kebab in naan bread, that's gross. I don't eat naans when I have Indian food, let alone Turkish.

Yes, in the past couple of years I've eaten more sober than drunk. That said, I live in a predominantly Muslim area where the kebabs are more of a 'normal' food and of a higher quality than your typical post-binge miscellaneous meat pile.

How strange, being as the doner kebab was invented by a Turk immigrant to Germany.

He died only last week.

What put me off the most is when I saw one place washing down the meat column things with cloths which had just been used on the counter tops and surfaces :pukel: no thankyou!

Washing the actual meat? Jesus.:smt104

If you eat them you build up a stronger immunity to food poisoning, a bit like having a flu jab - makes you feel crap just after you have it, but you don't get flu again. Kebabs have their place in social medicine

Heh, you should have seen the place in Gibraltar, there was a cockroach on it, and as it span round it would do a little lap of the kebab every time it got moved around to the hot bit.

Nigels quote of the year: "I'll have whatever he's having!" ... yes he was absolutely hammered.
