tbh i prefer the bike curvy look's wise just think it has better line's and it look's like a bigger bike especially with oem fairing's on em.

Its funny me and SmudgeK3 were chatting about this over autosol today, he seems to think his nakid pointy looks tiny, somebody asked him if it were a 250...lol
He also said my black one is the best faired curvy hes ever seen:cheers:

i like how you chatted over autosol take it that's being used to attack the downpipe's ;) and yeah the curvy's seem bigger somehow not as tall though must be the fairing's bulk it up a bit.

Until I learned about Coolgirl just now, the only person I know to own both is Devil Biccy.
They are such different looking bikes that it is very unusual for someone to own both. not to mention a beginners bike so people tend to move on to different things unless they are just besotted with the SV & there's no way they would consider changing from one to the other.

Roads, women and SV's....the curvy ones are always the best.

Curvys rule!!!
But let's get a professional opinion.

Let's ask world class rider E-Boz (Eric Bostrom) and see what he says...

There all sorted.
Curvy's rule...no question.

About the same really.

Yeah ok, you will need carbs, a load of custom wiring, a CDI unit, an alternator, maybe a rotor, carb boots, airbox (if it will fit), if not then a load of plastic padding or some pods and monster main jets...

...and a pointy!
Maybe a project for the future lol
I've started taking a liking to pointys after seeing more of them (and oggyplonks)...also starting to love the gsxr after seeing orose's.

I have a curvy S, I had a pointy naked for a few months while mine was being insurance assessed, both are cool. I'm not a huge fan of the pointy S, but have ridden one or two, and my curvy is now naked but with clip-ons.

Good things about the curvy - carbs, can turn lights off, looks

Good things about pointy - no carb icing, a lot younger and therefore probably much less rusty/broken than mine.
